Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) is involved in the Kreb’s cycle of energy production, is needed to make the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and for the conversion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins into energy. Synthesis of cholesterol (needed to manufacture Vitamin D and hormones) depends on pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid also activates the adrenal glands.

Pantothenic acid is a water-soluble vitamin that is a constituent of Coenzyme A, an important factor in energy production.
